Terms and conditions

These terms cover every quote request and every catering job that starts on this site. They are written in plain language, because a term nobody reads protects nobody.

  1. 1Who we are

  2. 2A request is not yet a booking

    What you fill in here is a quote request. A job exists once we have confirmed your date by phone or by email, and not before.

    We tell you within 24 hours whether we can take your date. Until then the date stays available to other customers.

  3. 3Holding your date

    We cater 1 event a day, so one kitchen works on one table.

    We need at least 5 days to prepare an event. If you need it sooner, call us — sometimes it can be done.

    A deposit of €50.00 puts the date in your name. The date is held only once the payment has arrived, and the amount comes off the final invoice.

  4. 4Cancelling and changing

    Cancel up to 3 days before the date and the deposit is returned in full.

    Cancel after that and we keep the deposit: by then the shopping and the planning for your event have been done.

    Moving a date costs nothing, as long as the new date is free.

  5. 5Prices and the quote

    All prices are in euro and include VAT.

    The quote is based on the guest count and the menu we agree on the phone. We would like the final count at the latest 5 days before the date; after that we work with the last number agreed.

  6. 6Halal and allergens

    All our meat comes from a certified halal butcher. The certificate hangs in the shop and can be seen on request.

    Tell us about allergies in the request or on the call. We work in one kitchen with nuts, gluten, egg and sesame among others, and cannot rule out traces.

  7. 7Paying

    The deposit is paid online through our payment provider Mollie, with iDEAL or another method offered there.

    The remaining amount is agreed with you and stated on the invoice.

  8. 8Collection and delivery

    You can collect from the shop, ⁦Jan Rebelstraat 14-G, 1069 CC Amsterdam⁩.

    Delivery is arranged with you. Delivery costs are always in the quote, so nothing is added afterwards.

  9. 9Your details

    We keep your name, phone number, email address, the date and what you tell us about the event. Nothing more, and only to handle your request.

    We do not sell your details and share them with no one, apart from our payment provider as far as the deposit requires.

  10. 10Complaints and governing law

    If something went wrong, call or email us within 48 hours of the event. We would rather fix it than have you sit with it.

    Dutch law applies to these terms.
